Photovoltaic Module Market Trends

Jul.08.2024

In June 2024, China's photovoltaic module exports reached US$2.703 billion. Although there was a 27.9% year-on-year decline, it achieved a month-on-month growth of 3.1%. This data shows that despite the uncertainty of the global trade environment, China's photovoltaic module export market still shows a certain degree of resilience. According to the latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs, China's photovoltaic module exports in June showed a trend of "stable volume and falling prices".

Countries such as the Netherlands, Brazil, and India continue to become the main export markets for China's photovoltaic modules. It is worth noting that demand in markets such as India, South Africa, Australia, and Germany increased significantly month-on-month in June, showing strong demand for photovoltaic products in these regions. Among them, the growth of the Indian market is particularly significant, benefiting from the local government's active promotion and policy support for renewable energy.

Photovoltaic systems already have a large customer base in developed countries such as Europe and North America, and demand is approaching saturation. In addition, photovoltaic panels cannot generate electricity at night, so our wind turbines come into play at this time.
